Laugharne Castle is located on the River Taf estuary. Which is also famous for the Dylan Thomas Boathouse, where Dylan wrote many of his famous works, including Under Milk Wood.


This landscape photo of Laugharne Castle shows the landscape of the River Taf Estuary, the head of which flows from near the Pembrokeshire village of Crymych, through many Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire villages for approximately 35 miles until it reaches the mouth of the Taf Estuary, Ginst Point and Carmarthen Bay.


This landscape photo also shows the infamous and regular tidal flooding of the carpark of Laugharne Castle!
